Who We Are:
Bayfield Nordic, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization to:
- Enhance cross-country skiing facilities, trail grooming and maintenance in the Chequamegon Bay and surrounding region
- Provide citizens and visitors with quality cross-country ski opportunities and events
- Create and enhance a cross-country ski community and sport-specific culture
- Advocate for the economic benefits of winter silent sports and an awareness of the associated impacts that climate change is having on the regional economy
What We Do
Bayfield Nordic, Inc., is organized to provide high-quality cross-country ski
experiences for regional citizens and visitors to our trails, with high-quality grooming for the best ski conditions we can provide from weather and snow conditions.
We facilitate and oversee ski trail design, annual maintenance, and consistent in-season trail grooming, with the use of trail fees and contributions for materials and supplies. The organization also collaborates with others to put on annual events that bring many people to the area from throughout the mid-west.
